SYNW Appoints Enitan Abdultawab as SYNW Co-Coordinator in UNILAG (University of Lagos)

 

SYNW APPOINTS ENITAN ABDULTAWAB AS SYNW CO-COORDINATOR IN UNILAG (UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS)

The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has announced the appointment of Olugbuyiro Success as her Coordinator in UNILAG (University of Lagos).

In a statement made available to pressmen today, Wole Adedoyin, the National President of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) said, Enitan Abdultawab will be responsible for connecting students with SYNW’s resources, organizing monthly readings, workshops, competitions with support from individuals, corporate bodies and the National body, while also supporting them in ways that help promote reading culture in UI and enhance their literary career.

In order to achieve SYNW’s aim of promoting creative writing and book reading among Nigerian students between the ages of 10 and 35 in our various universities, the Society of Young Nigerian Writers has again appointed Enitan Abdultawab as Co-Coordinator of the young writers’ body in UNILAG (University of Lagos).

We look forward to seeing the initiatives that Enitan Abdultawab introduces and continues at the campus,” Adedoyin said.

Enitan Abdultawab is a poet, essayist and content editor. Born on 31st of July, 2000 in a family of five in Sagamu. He hails from Ilejemeje, Ekiti State. He schooled in Sagamu where he attended Imperial College and Methodist Comprehensive College for his junior and senior secondary education respectively. In the latter, he represented the school in various literary competitions. His works have been published in various online magazines, most notably the Shallow Tales Review, Poemify Magazine and Gabi Magazine. Some of his works are Orisagamu Ewa, Force And Forces, Blind Eyes (Poetry); The Viper, With The Whisperer Fettered (Short Stories); Together Towards Tomorrow, So Long A Letter: An Expressive Approach(Articles).He is currently a year one English student of the University of Lagos.
