Writers Congratulate Jahman Anikulapo on 61st Birthday

 WRITERS CONGRATULATE JAHMAN ANIKULAPO ON 61ST BIRTHDAY



The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has extended its warm congratulations to Mr. Jahman Anikulapo on the occasion of his 61st birthday. 


This milestone in the life of the accomplished Arts Editor and Culture journalist is a testament to his enduring commitment to the arts and culture landscape.


In a press release issued by SYNW President, Wole Adedoyin, the organization expressed deep admiration for Mr. Anikulapo's contributions to the literary and cultural spheres. 


According to the statement, "Mr. Anikulapo, a former Arts Editor at The Guardian on Sunday, has been a stalwart figure in the field since 1987, reporting on events and managing cultural programs worldwide."


"Beyond his journalistic endeavors, Jahman Anikulapo has left an indelible mark as a former stage actor, manager, and director on national and international productions. His influence extends to shaping national and international policies on culture, as demonstrated through his involvement in esteemed committees such as the Commonwealth Foundation and Tony Blair Commission for Africa’s sub-committee for Culture."


"Currently serving as the program chairman at the Committee for Relevant Art (CORA), Anikulapo has co-directed the annual Lagos Book and Art Festival (LABAF) since 1999. His dedication to the promotion of culture is further evident through his role as the executive director of the iREP Film Festival and his position on the board of the Arts and Business Foundation (ABF)."


In addition to these roles, Mr. Anikulapo consults regularly on publications, contributing his wealth of knowledge and experience to magazines and books.
