 YOUNG WRITERS GREET FATIMA IBRAHIM ABBA GANA ON HER 45TH BIRTHDAY

The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has congratulated Fatima Ibrahim Abba Gana on the occasion of her 45th birthday. A prolific author of both Hausa and English literature, Fatima has captivated readers with her insightful works.

Born in Kaduna and hailing from Borno State, Fatima Ibrahim Abba Gana embodies the cultural richness and diversity of Northern Nigeria. Her upbringing in various parts of the North has endowed her with a deep understanding of different cultures, which is evident in her writings.

With a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and ongoing professional certifications in ACCA, Fatima has not only excelled in her banking career but also pursued her passion for literature. She holds a diploma in Scriptwriting, Producing, and Directing from ITPAN School, Lagos, along with various certifications in computer-related fields.

During her tenure in Osogbo, Osun State, serving in the office of the governor during her NYSC days, Fatima demonstrated her commitment to public service. Subsequently, she contributed significantly to the banking sector, with 14 years of experience across various institutions before venturing into entrepreneurship as the CEO/MD of SHAWULLAM Nigeria Limited.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Fatima is an avid traveler, adventurer, and enthusiast of literature. Her love for exploration, coupled with her fluency in English, Kanuri, Hausa, and German languages, has enriched her writing, making it resonate with a diverse audience.

Fatima's literary journey is marked by her dedication to storytelling and her ability to articulate her innermost thoughts and imaginations into words. With two published books to her name, "Rakiba" in both Hausa and English, and "Karima" in Hausa, she is currently working on her fourth book, "Sounds of the Heart," in English, promising readers another captivating experience.
