IBADAN BOOK CLUB HOLDS IBADAN BOOK FIESTA TOMORROW
The eagerly awaited Ibadan Book Fiesta is set to take place tomorrow, December 23, 2023, at the Oyo State Library Board premises, located opposite Cocoa House in Ibadan, starting at 12:00 PM.
Wole Adedoyin, the visionary behind the Ibadan Book Club, shared that the event, beyond highlighting the literary brilliance of two distinguished authors, will also include a compact novel writing and publishing workshop. The invited guest writers will actively contribute their expertise to this workshop, aligning with its central theme.
The Ibadan Book Fiesta is poised to offer a range of engaging activities, notably a publishing workshop designed to enlighten aspiring writers about the intricacies of the publishing industry. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to glean insights from seasoned professionals, potentially propelling their literary ambitions to new heights.

Lasekan, known for works such as "Qué Sera Sera Sera," "The Whitlow Paddle," and "The Zebra Crossing Dilemma," has carved a niche for himself in the literary world.
Olatunde Lawuyi Ogunniran, a luminary in the literary realm and a distinguished poet, writer, and publisher, will also grace the occasion. With affiliations to esteemed literary organizations such as the Conference of South West Writers and Egbe Akomolede Yoruba, Ogunniran will share his extensive knowledge during a lecture on the intricacies of publishing. Notable works by Ogunniran include titles like "Rita's Bad Day," "You Can Do Better," "Who Marries The Princess," and "The Regret."
