IBADAN BOOK CLUB TO BESTOW HONORS UPON EXEMPLARY MEMBERS
In a grand celebration of literary achievement, the Ibadan Book Club announces its intention to award and honor outstanding members and organizations for their unwavering support and significant contributions towards fostering a thriving reading and writing culture in Oyo State.
The Founder of the Club, Wole Adedoyin, conveyed this exciting development in a statement released in Ibadan on Tuesday.
The primary objective of these prestigious awards is to motivate Ibadan Book Club members while expressing gratitude to other influential stakeholders in the literary community. The deserving recipients will be formally acknowledged during the much-anticipated 2023 edition of the Ibadan Book Honor.
Since the inception of this literary year, Ibadan Book Club has hosted over fifty writers and guest lecturers, including accomplished artists. Additionally, they have conducted interviews with over a hundred writers, curated a poetry anthology currently undergoing editing, and organized the successful Ibadan Creative Writing Workshop.
