WRITERS CONGRATULATE DR. BUKAR USMAN ON 81ST BIRTHDAY


 

The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has congratulated Dr. Bukar Usman, OON, on his 81st birthday. Dr. Usman is a retired federal permanent secretary who served in the presidency with distinction, earning the respect of his peers for his selflessness and unwavering dedication to his country.

In a statement issued by the president of the society, Wole Adedoyin, the SYNW lauded Dr. Usman's remarkable contributions to nation-building, both through his distinguished civil service career and his prolific literary endeavors. Born in Biu, Borno State, Dr. Usman is a man of many talents. His diverse works showcase his keen intellect, insightful observations, and deep undersanding of Nigerian society.

Prior to his literary pursuits, Dr. Usman enjoyed a successful career in the civil service. Starting as a 3rd class clerk, he rose through the ranks through sheer merit and dedication, eventually becoming a permanent secretary in the presidency.
